    I would like some help figuring our how to use two of three monitors on a Mac using Citrix Workspace 19.12.0.23 (1912). We can easily use one or all three, but I haven't found anything useful in how to configure workspace or Virtual Apps and Desktops so that my users can use two of their three monitors in full-screen with the remaining monitor in MacOS. The only downsides are same as any intel based Macs: - top out on energy consumption than any other apps. Oct 15, 2018 Citrix doesn't have a receiver that supports Mac Mojave or 10.14. If you are using Mac and Citrix receiver, then suggestion is, do not upgrade the OS, until Citrix releases a new version that supports Mojave.

    This article describes how to map a local Mac client printer when you are using the Citrix Receiver for Java on the Mac client computer to connect to a session.

    Background

    To use a printer that is attached to a Mac client, the printer must be mapped. To map printers when you are using the Citrix Receiver for Java on the Mac client for connection, you must manually configure the printer.

    To map a printer locally attached to the Mac client, specify the Server as 127.0.0.1 and the Queue name as the local Mac printer queue name.

    Instructions

    Complete the following procedure to map a local client printer on a Mac client computer when using Citrix Receiver for Java:

    1. Note the queue name of the printer in the Print & Fax settings of the Mac client and ensure that local printing is working.

    2. Start the initial published resource from the Web Interface page and notice the Citrix Connection Center window.

    3. Select Settings.

    4. Activate the Printer Mappings tab.

    5. Specify the following details to add a mapped printer:

    1. Specify a Printer Name.

    2. Select Network printer.

    3. Specify 127.0.0.1 in the Server option.

    4. Specify the Mac printer queue name in the Queue name option.
      Note: Ensure that the queue name matches the printer queue name in the Print & Fax settings of the Mac client.

    5. Select the appropriate printer driver from the Printer Driver option.

    6. Click OK to save the Printer Mapping settings.

    7. Close the current connection.

    Future connections reflect the mapped printer and allow printing within an ICA Session.

    User is unable to log on from a MacBook using the Citrix Receiver for Mac. The session opens and eventually disappears without any error message.

    Solution

    To resolve this issue, complete the following steps:

    1. Select the System Preferences icon on the toolbar.

    2. Open the Sharing folder in System Preferences under Internet & Wireless, as displayed in the following screen shot:

    1. Check the Computer Name field. If it is blank, type a computer name for the machine so that a license can be assigned to it.

    The session opens successfully from a MacBook using Citrix Receiver for Mac.

    Problem Cause

    Because the Mac devices does not have a registry like Windows devices, a license must be issued to the client devices name. If the device does not have a name, it cannot be issued a license. It attempts to assign a license to a null value, and the session drops.
